Our Message
Crossmark Baptist Church trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ for our Salvation and believes in
the teachings of the Bible as the complete inspired Word of the Living God, have joined ourselves
with one another as a body of immersed believers, to carry on the Lord’s work decently according
to His Word (1 Corinthians 14:33, 40).
By the Spirit of God, we have receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior on the profession of
faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, in the presence of God, angels, and the body of Christ, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as Church.
We believe God has called us out of the world for Himself and is sending us back into the world to be His faithful servants and witnesses, for the extension of His Kingdom, building the body of Christ and the glorifying of His name. The Gospel is still a precious treasure today that need to be
carry with us everywhere we go.
Crossmark is changing lives with the gospel through the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Due to mankind’s disobedience to God’s instruction in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), we have all come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). But God created man for a fellowship with him and his faithfulness could not let him watch us perish in our sins or be condemned (John 3:16).
God therefore, made a provision for the propitiation of our sins by sending his only begotten son
to die on the cross in our place (Romans 5:8).
Just like God gave man a choice in the Garden of Eden, he has also given us choice today. Christ came down from his glory in heaven to live among his creation who subjected him to the most shameful death ever to atone for mankind’s sin. That blood that was shed has washed our sins white as snow. If we will repent of our sins and accept the death of Christ as an atonement for our sins by believing in him as our savior, we will be saved and our sins forgiven. (Mark 1:15; 1st John 1:7; 1st Peter 1:19; Acts 20:21).
The death of Christ was not the end of his ministry, but when he descended into death, he
conquered it by rising again the third day to justified our faith in him.
He arose victoriously form the grave and conquered death. Once we are saved, we are to grow in that faith and in the
knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, bearing fruits and planting seeds of faith in others by sharing
the good news with them. (1st Corinthians 15:1-4; 2nd Peter 3:18)
Once we are saved, we follow Jesus’ example in Baptism, as a step of obedience to Christ and joinone of Christ’s Churches. It is our duty then to serve faithfully in the Church, obey every command of the Bible and let our lives bring glory to him. Our faith and hope in Christ gives us that assurance of an eternity in heaven with our Savior.
