OUR PASTOR
REV. DR. JONATHAN VICTOR PADI ADJABENG
Rev. Dr. Jonathan Victor Padi Adjabeng, a native of Manya Krobo was born on June 16, 1971. He lived
with his parents in Mensah Dawa a village in the Upper Manya District. He loved to study and
worked hard to have access to Secondary School education in the Manya Krobo Secondary School.
This brought him to live in Kpongunor in the lower Manya District to the town center. Despite
being raised a Presbyterian, he accepted a friend’s invitation to attend a Christmas Eve event at
the New Testament Baptist Church. There, he came to know the Lord in 1989. He said, “For the
very first time l heard a clear presentation of the gospel, and trusted Christ as my Lord and Savior.”
But he was curious to know more about Christ and the gospel, he voluntarily decided to get close
to the Pastor of the Church, Pastor Samuel A. K. Nyaunu and assist him in his personal day to day
activities. There, he had the opportunity to probe more into the Bible as he settled his doubts asking
questions and taking on duties assigned to him by the Pastor. In 1993, he surrendered to preach
the Gospel of Christ to his town folks. Due to his dedication, He was made Youth Pastor in New
Testament Baptist Church. In 1995, he enrolled at Maranatha Bible College in Accra. Upon
graduation in 1997, he was confirmed as the Pastor of New Testament Baptist Church.
He served faithfully in that capacity until 2000,
He left to the United States to further his
education at Landmark Baptist College in Haines City, Florida. He studied hard to earn himself
through the mercies of God a Degree in Theology in 2002, a Master’s Degree in Theology in 2003;
then continued on to earn his Doctorate in Theology in 2004 which gave him training in a number
of models.
After his degrees, he served selflessly in Crossroads Baptist Church in Virginia, USA from 2004
to 2007, when he decided to return home to start a mission oriented Church in Ghana, Accra.
Because of his dedication to work and the services of God, Landmark Baptist College has
appointed him as the sole recommender of Students from Africa to Landmark Baptist College,
Haines City, Florida and an adjoin staff of the College. He is in charge of Admitting and
recommending students from Africa to the College. He is also in charge of the Landmark Baptist
College Directed Studies for Africa.
He returned in 2007, he began a Bible Studies meeting in his home by going round the community
to invite people and also introduce the gospel to them. This he did faithfully until 6th January, 2008
when this Bible Study group became a Church under the name Crossmark Baptist Church, Amanfro. He continued preaching and evangelizing his community and reaching
out to children through fun activities. Many folks joined because their children were brought from
roaming the street and community to under the umbrella of God. He returned in 2007, he began a Bible Studies meeting in his home by going round the community

In August, 2008, he married his wife Mrs. Pearl Emefa Adjabeng and they continued the work
together. He taught on many platforms and became a teacher at Good News Theological Seminary.
He was also the chairman of Fruitful Ministries, Accra and the deputy to Rev. Kessiedoo. They
offer counselling to couples across the country.
Pastor Jonathan has realized there is great spiritual need for sound doctrine in his Country. Many
people have been entangled in search of freedom for their souls and new hope of life. He began to
reach out to Church Leaders across the country by organizing Church Leadership training to them.
People from other evangelical church backgrounds are part of these training. Currently these
trainings held at Crossmark Baptist Church, New Testament Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church
(Asesewa), Good News Theological Training Center (Ziope), and Redeemed Baptist Church
(Swedru). He is also involved in Basic and Secondary School Ministry as he is passionate about
reaching the children and youth for Christ.
Pastor Jonathan believes Jesus Christ called him to teach his gospel of truth to everyone. He has
the desire to plant churches throughout the region and establish Bible colleges to train his brethren.
As a Ghanaian, he has a great understanding of the people and their potential as servants of God.
Pastor Jonathan believes that the effective way to reach Ghana is to plant churches that will become
autonomous and missions-oriented, and thus, not perpetually dependent on foreign support.
Pastor Jonathan stands for the Authorized King James Version of the Bible and as such, organizes
a seminar in July every year dubbed KJV Conference to help other Pastors and Leaders understand
why the KJV Bible is the true Word of God. With the help of some missionaries and precious seed,
thousands of KJV Bibles are distributed and shared during this conference.
Dr. and Mrs. Jonathan Padi Victor Adjabeng has three children; a daughter and two sons.
